Cazadero Winery

Cazadero Winery is a family-owned, single-vineyard micro-winery based in Fairfax, California, with roots stretching back to the 1920s when the Egger family first planted grapes in Cazadero. Founded in 2008 by Frank and Ronita Sundin Egger — longtime Fairfax residents — the winery has earned over 189 medals in prestigious competitions including the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the Sonoma County Harvest Fair, and Sunset Magazine.

The winery produces 100% varietal, all-natural Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir from sustainably farmed vineyards, using native wild yeast and no chemical additives. Grapes are handpicked each harvest, with Frank personally participating in most picks. The wines are produced at Merriam Vineyards in Healdsburg and sold through local grocery stores, wine bars, restaurants, and online.

With deep ties to Fairfax and a philosophy built on quality, sustainability, and community, Cazadero Winery is a proud local institution that brings a genuine piece of Sonoma wine country to Marin.
